Make Your Own Photography Studio

Share your tips in the chat

Photography enthusiasts, professional photographers and hobbyists: do any of you have your own studio at home or elswhere to work on your photography? Did you DIY the studio with your own materials and ideas? I ran across this article about someone who did and thought it was so cool it had to be shared. She actually made a studio in a storage shed in her backyard!

This is a brilliant idea, especially due to the natural lighting available for daytime shoots, and it got me thinking: where's the weirdest place you've ever done a photo shoot? These days, is anything even that weird? There are people doing their wedding photos in cemetaries and plenty of other odd locations, after all. And while there's nothing wrong with that, it does speak of the unique, more personally-driven culture we belong to in 2019.

So what do you use for photos at home? Do you have a studio or do you just work with what's available? What's the weirdest way you've ever taken photos? Share your stories and tips in the chat.
