The winter solstice is upon us and as the sun returns, fostering in spring, we turn to some sunny day crafting! From orange slice ornaments to Solstice lanterns, there are so many great crafts that the hardest part is really just narrowing them down to a couple to complete. After you choose a couple, see if you can work on them today or this evening so you can enjoy them tomorrow or even give them as gifts!
Ornaments are a great Solstice craft. You can even make one based on this year's eclipse for a really memorable moment. If you make a tin lantern, that would be an incredible gift even though it's harder than, say, the felt or ice versions you can craft. Any kind of sunshine makes a great Solstice craft, too, but my personal favorite is the orange slice oranment. Slice them, bake them and sprinkle on some cinnamon for the most delicious holiday scent ever.
