Valentine Countown

It's time to prepare your countdown!

In our home, we've always loved countdown calendars. We do them for birthdays, Halloween, Christmas and yes, Valentine's Day! It doesn't have to be elaborate; some years we've done "advent" style countdowns with small toys or candies, and sometimes we just do a paper chain. We do service countdowns where you perform an act of service each day and we've even done a countdown that included a new book every day!

Now is the time to start planning your Valentine countdown if you're going to do one. You usually start on the first day of the month and count down toward the event, and you can do this any way you like. You can buy a countdown that's already prepared or you can create your own with red, white and pink envelopes, small hearts, a paper chain... it's entirely up to you.

How do you do a Valentine's countdown? Are you doing it for your family or yourself? Share your tips and ideas in the chat.
